While The Forge is designed to be a calm and focused place to work, it is also built on the belief that work feels better when you are not doing it entirely alone.
Community here is gentle and natural. A friendly hello in the morning, the occasional conversation over coffee, or a chance to meet other people building their own businesses. There is no pressure to network, only the opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where everyone is working hard at something they care about.
Because sometimes the best part of coworking is simply knowing you are not the only one at the desk.

We’re here for the same thing
The Forge was created by Rachel of Blue Leaf Accounting and Veronique of Castel Branco Architecture, two business owners who spent years working from home and understood both the freedom and the challenges that come with it. Between spreadsheets, sketchbooks, endless cups of tea, and the occasional interruption from delivery drivers or cartoons, they realised something many independent workers feel. Working for yourself does not have to mean working alone.
Rachel and Veronique set out to create a space that feels good to work in. Creative but not chaotic, calm but never dull, and always welcoming to the people who walk through the door.

Parking near us
There is two hour free parking on the road outside the Forge, or around the corner at Tesco. There is also four hour free parking at Mentmore Road Park (postcode LU7 2AJ).
